Last weekend we went down to Samara, which is the town Cory and I visited 2 years ago. Great beach and is more of a tourist town than Nosara. This restaurant is right on the beach! We have talked about moving down there after our 2 months in Nosara. The roads are paved there and it has more "stuff" there. More pics to come!

These are pictures of us on Playa (Beach) Palada. Our house is about a 7-10 minute walk to this beach. The surfing beach Playa Guoines is another 5-7 minute walk. This beach is better for the kids to swim. It is a small cove. When the tide is low there are tide poles for the kids to check out and these rocks to climb on! It only took 9 minutes to upload these.

Week #2 November 23-30

Hola Familia and Amigo's (Friends and Family)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL!
We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you all for being in our lives. We had a great thanksgiving. We cooked a very common meal in the Streeter household, breakfast dinner. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, OJ, and Pancakes. This week the kids started school and are doing really well. We spend the morning doing school and then the afternoons we play at the beach or pool or both. Days here start at about 6am. Cory and I have coffee by the pool while the kids wake up. We are getting used to absolutely nothing...NO TV, NO PHONE, NO CAR! It is amazing what you can really do without. It is hard I will tell you the truth but nice. Time almost stops here. Each day is the same. You can really just enjoy each day as they are. We have met Rachel who lives in the house next to us and she offered to watch the kids. She is a trusted person by many of the expat families. The other day she had 14 kids over at her house to swim in the pool and hang out. The kids loved having other kids around. Kai wants to hang out at the pool in the hopes kids will come and play. That is one thing we need to do is get to know some of the local kids. I am going to try and upload some pictures. We will see how long this takes. :) Love you all!

Week 1 November 17-23

Hola from Nosara, Costa Rica
I know everyone is wanting pictures, but...the interenet is not as high speed as we are used to, so give me a little time and I will get some amazing pictures up. I am carrying my camera everywhere. We have been here almost 1 week and we are getting settled into our new home we have rented for 2 months. The weather was very very windy and the power went out for a few hours everyday the first part of the week. The last couple of days have been great! We have been just relaxing and going to the beach everyday. We bought the kids boogy boards and Kai will do it for hours at a time. You pratically have to drag him out of the water. Ava is getting used to is and needs mom or dad assistance. She told me to get the next wave because that one was to small. It will only be time before she is going solo. The howler monkeys wake us up every morning, they are VERY loud. The sun rises about 5:30 ish and is dark by 6:00pm. No need for an alarm clock! We only have a car for a few more days and then we will rent 4 wheelers. The roads are crazy! I will do a blog just on the roads stay tuned!
I need to go, but will post again real soon!
